Atelier Ryza 2: A Fresh Start For Atelier Fans

The Atelier Ryza is a side-scrolling, action-adventure game developed and published by Nintendo. It is one of the several’s developed for the Nintendo Switch that offers a unique graphical experience while also including traditional elements of gaming such as dungeons, exploration, and fighting. For anyone who enjoys playing role-playing games with an emphasis on visuals and narrative, Atelier Ryza 2 is definitely worth a look.

Atelier Ryza Sequel

The Atelier Ryza 2 gameplay revolves around crafting and acquiring new gears that can be used to progress through the game’s many quests. I liked that the game took the time to create interesting, character-driven stories that were relevant to the world. The Atelier Ryza 2 focused on the relationships between characters instead of creating a huge world that would have been too empty. For a video game that was released so close to the release of Final Fantasy 15, this approach felt surprisingly effective.

The story of Atelier Ryza 2 is divided into two separate parts. The first part focuses on the events after you awaken your dragonoid robot, Ryza, and find yourself transported into the world of Valentia. This is where your journey begins, and where your main objective is to go through the land and find the seven crystal stones which are required in order to advance further into the game. While this may sound simple, it gets incredibly confusing quite quickly. The second part of the game centers around the fantasy element of Atelier, wherein you travel back to Valentia and go through the gates into the tower itself. Here you will find that you have to use the synthesis system, which is your main tool for unlocking different abilities and weapons, to progress through the game.

The first part of the game is divided into three parts and includes the storyline, and gameplay. The second part of the game revolves around the mystery surrounding the seven crystals and how they can help you complete your job, as well as the Atelier city itself. The third part of the game revolves around the Atelier’s strong combat system, and how you will have to employ various skills and strategies to take down enemies and win battles. Each part of the game has its own objective and leveling system, as well as a variety of side quests and challenges. All of this makes the game feel fresh and exciting.

Atelier Fans January 2021

If you enjoyed the first Atelier game, you will definitely enjoy Atelier Ryza 2. The first game introduced you to the characters and story behind Atelier and helped solidify your understanding of what makes this game so special. However, while Atelier Ryza 2 looks and plays much like its predecessor, it offers an endless array of possibilities thanks to the synthesis system. By combining two Atelier games in one, you get to see the whole world through the eyes (and ears) of its most popular character, making this game an essential part of any Atelier fan’s library.

If you’re a new player to Atelier, or if you simply want a refresher on everything that made the original Atelier Ryza such a hit, Atelier Ryza 2 is definitely for you. Even if you’re not a fan of Atelier games, Atelier Ryza 2 is something you should consider adding to your gaming collection, because it’s a lot of fun. Even if you’re not a fan of Atelier Ryza 2, you’ll probably find something to enjoy in this game, and once you do you’ll wonder why you ever played anything else. For fans of the first game, and fans of the second, Atelier Ryza 2 provides a great experience that anyone who plays Atelier games should experience at least once.
