Balan Wonderworld – March 2021

Balan Wonderworld is a brand new virtual platform game, developed by Balan Company in collaboration with Arzest and Nival S.A., and released by Square Enix. It’s planned for worldwide release on March 25, 2020 for Microsoft Windows, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5. The game can be purchased at various online retailers for both retail and digital copies. It’s also available at various online download sites for an affordable price tag. You can play the game up to four times a week, every day!

Balan Wonderworld

In Balan Wonderworld you play as a magical fairy who crashes into different worlds, collecting objects along the way. You will see the land of Paraia, the land of Fina, the land of Luxemia, the land of Gala and more. Each world has different mechanics that require various actions to perform and different game-play. If you like casual platform games or online casual games, then you’ll definitely enjoy Balan Wonderworld!

You take the role of a Fairy Godmother who wanders throughout different realms. There are twelve different realms to explore in Balan Wonderworld, each one with their own puzzles, hidden rooms, enemies and items to collect and more. The game spans three unique dimensions, which are: front, back and centre. To play the game you need to tap the left stick in the centre bottom of your screen, to move the fairy around. As you progress through the levels, you’ll unlock further levels and additional fairy powers, that allow you to change your weapons and magical powers, in addition to unlocking new locations to collect items and other objects.

As you progress through the game you’ll also unlock new locations, enabling you to access previously unreachable areas, plus the number of objects you can collect increases. When you complete one room you can move on to the next, where ever you tap to drop down a slide and go through another adventure filled with magic, mystery and fun. In addition to the main game, there are numerous mini-games within Balan Wonderworld. These range from simple word puzzles to a full-blown escape sequence where you’ll have to avoid obstacles while finding your way through a variety of rooms and levels.

The characters you meet throughout Balan Wonderworld are quite colorful, though you’ll notice that they’ve been set-up in a particular way to evoke certain emotions. For example, there is the Bazaar Delightfuls where you’ll find colourful sweets and tempting snacks; the Lazy Meadow where you’ll delight in the slow pace of moving animals and the Crystal Caves where you’ll use various crystal objects to create different objects. Throughout each location you’ll find funny little scenes that are funny just by looking at, yet they also provide you with the opportunity to learn more about the people that are situated there. The positive memories mix allows you to build up tension, as you aren’t always sure what’s going on around you, forcing you to use your wits in order to solve puzzles and escape from dangerous situations.

Release Date : March 26, 2021

Throughout the course of the game you’ll be shown a few cut-scenes as well as mini-games. A lot of them are quite humorous, with a focus on creating funny reactions and facial expressions to various events. You’ll be shown a world that is made up of several different islands, where you’ll see creatures that are set-up in funny but realistic ways to enhance the ‘all-action show’ feel. What I really like about the game is that you get to use a number of different special abilities, allowing you to make the entire experience more interesting.
