Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age belongs to the franchise that has been in development for five sequels. However, this is the first time that the series will be turning into a console-based release. The story is set ten years after the events of the previous titles. The hero of the game, still named Tidus, arrives in his homeland as a result of a summons from his homeland –Yuna, Tidus’ sister.

If you remember the earlier installments, you will find that Tidus still possesses his own Spira armor, which can be customized with new pieces based on his own personality and style. This time around, however, he has lost his memory. Losing his memory makes Tidus a loner, and he is not very social compared to the other character models in the series thus far. He relies on his “Wings”, which allow him to fly. To be more immersion into his character, Square Enix made the decision to include many special features, most notably his “Luminary”.

Tidus is joined by his old friend, Prompto. Prompto is a young boy who lives in another world called Spira. He is also part of the legendary Dragon Quest on, and he looks similar to Tidus. However, the two are different when it comes to their Spira armor. In the previous games, the two have the same set of armor, but in Dragon Quest XI, they have new pieces that they can use during battle. This time around, the two have the following:

The new features in the PSP version of Dragon Quest XI include the following: a battle system that utilizes the touch screen, a quick menu that includes equipment choices, special attacks, special items, and items that can be shared with your co-player (only if you are playing the online version), a battle timer, and an enhanced battle mode. The battle system, or “PS4 Shower”, is a brand new feature where Tidus’ attacks are powered up by inflicting damage on enemies through the use of “shower” effects. For example, when attacking an enemy with a sword, Tidus will unleash a beam of light that will cause additional damage. You can even do a combo while using a flying attack.

In the PlayStation 4 version of the game, you can also switch between the battle system and the menus. If you want to play the battle system, then you can just switch from the normal screen to the battle system screen. The features of the battle system that were added in this version are the following: characters can now go into elemental forms, you can change the element by choosing a particular element from a drop list, and certain enemies will leave red hearts floating after each battle. The PS4 version also adds a new mini game that makes playing Dragon Quest XI even more fun and exciting. This mini-game involves a cute little fairy that goes around doing different things in-game, and it’s something that a lot of players want to do because it’s very relaxing and fun.

If you’ve played the original version of Dragon Quest XI, then you know how addictive the game can be. It’s also a lot of fun for those who have never played before.
