Oddworld: Soulstorm is one of the most challenging games on the market. You fight your enemies using special weapons, which can take many forms. For example, you can build a bridge that spans a chasm and trap your enemies beneath it. Oddworld: Soulstorm is not just a platformer though. There is some puzzle involved too. The website has hints and tips for the whole game. You can always return to an earlier level, if you lose your track. There is a help file called the Walkthrough. Soulstorm can also be played directly on the Oddworld website. The download is not too big either.

Oddworld: Soulstorm

There are several levels in the game and each one is quite different. This is what makes game so fun to play. When you finally get to the end of a level you start on the next one. I managed to collect all the items I needed for my first trip through the jungle in only two days. The price is right too, at under forty dollars.

The graphics and sound effects are not great, but they are not terrible either. I especially like the strange transformations that occur. For example, I transformed into an angry cat when I fought my enemy. The level gives you tips and advice on how to fight your particular opponent.

April 2021

I have to say that the best part of Oddworld: Soulstorm, is the co-op mode. Here you will work alongside five other people to beat all the levels. It is so much fun. The graphics are very nice too. My favorite part of Oddworld: Soulstorm was the ending. It totally took me by surprise. I didn’t even realize what was happening until I did the next level and saw that everybody had died. It made me extremely happy. The whole idea behind the game is that you have to complete each level before moving on to the next. Each level has something called the Treasure which can only be collected when you reach a certain point within the level.
